Neatworld at Work During the Nairobi City Marathon 2022
During the 2022 Nairobi City Marathon that took place on 8th May 2022 at the corridors of the Nairobi Expressway, Neatworld was tasked with collecting waste such as water bottles, wrappers and other plastics discarded by the participants and fans of the marathon. All of the plastic we collected was sorted at our sorting station and sent for recycling. This is consistent with our theme on environment conservation in that no plastic from the tournament ended up in Nairobi’s drainages or landfill, they were all recycled.
